Jakov Milatović
Jakov Milatović was born in 1986 in Podgorica, where he finished elementary school and “Slobodan Škerović” Grammar school with a diploma “Luča” (honors student).

He completed his undergraduate studies in the field of economics at the Faculty of Economics, University of Montenegro, with an average grade 10 and was a student of the generation. He was honored with numerous domestic awards from the Ministry of Education, University of Montenegro, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and others, as well as foreign scholarships.

He spent one academic year at Illinois State University as a US Government Scholar; one semester at the University of Economics and Business in Vienna (WU Wien) as an Austrian Government Scholar; one academic year at the University of Rome (La Sapienza) as a European Commission Scholar.

He completed his master’s degree in economics at the University of Oxford where he was a British Government (Chevening) Scholar.

He started his work experience at NLB Bank, Podgorica in the risk management team of the Bank. He then worked at Deutsche Bank, Frankfurt in the country credit risk assessment team focusing on Central and Eastern European countries. In 2014, he started working for the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), London in the team for economic and political analysis, first as an economic analyst for the region of Southeast Europe, and then, after being promoted to the position of economist, he covered the Western Balkan countries from the office in Podgorica. In 2018, he was promoted to the chief economist for the EU countries, including Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia and Slovenia from the office in Bucharest.

He gained other experiences and trainings through attending schools and programs of the United Nations in New York; German Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Podgorica; the Office for International Cooperation of the Faculty of Economics in Podgorica; the International Monetary Fund in London; the London School of Economics (LSE) and the University of Beijing; the Leadership Academy of Stanford University and the University of Belgrade and others.

He is the author of several professional papers and co-author of two books.

He was the Minister of Economic Development in the Government of Montenegro from December 2020 to April 2022.

He is married and the father of two children.

Milojko Spajić
Milojko Spajić was born in 1987 in Pljevlja, where he completed elementary school and grammar school.

As a Japanese Government Scholar, within the Monbukagakusho scholarship program, he completed his first year of studies at Osaka University, and then graduated in regular four-year studies in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics at the Faculty of Economic Sciences at Saitama University. As part of the exchange, he also spent one semester at the best Chinese technical university, Tsinghua.

He obtained his master’s degree, also as a scholarship holder, in France at HEC Paris, which according to the Financial Times is the number one school in Europe for finance.

After completing his education, he worked in Tokyo and Singapore, in the global banking corporations CitiBank and Goldman Sachs, and after that he became a partner of a Venture Capital fund in Singapore.

He returned to Montenegro in 2020, so he could help the country with his knowledge and experience. In addition to our language, he also speaks six world languages. As a non-party person, he was a member of the advisory team of Zdravko Krivokapić, the holder of “For the Future of Montenegro” electoral list and the Prime Minister-designate of the Government. He held the position of Minister of Finance and Social Welfare from December 2020 to April 2022.
