Europe Now will advocate an accelerated digital transformation of the public administration system, with the aim of putting it more adequately at the service of citizens and the economy. Digital transformation is an imperative that will enable public administration services to be provided in a much more efficient way. It must be comprehensive in order to use the full potential and eliminate gaps in the system where it is still “necessary to visit the counter”. Comprehensive digital transformation includes, among other things, digitalization of public administration, education, healthcare, social protection, etc. However, in addition to digitization, including digital identification (such as a digital identity card), digital signature, electronic submission of tax returns, online medical prescriptions, digital cadaster, etc., and in order to optimally use online solutions, education of citizens is also needed, as well as the popularization of digital services among end users, i.e. population and economy.
